Mario super sluggers is a baseball game that has Mario characters. Released in 2008 for the Nintendo Wii. It has a few modes and even a campaign this and a roster of Mario charecters ranging from Mario to a Goomba this allows you to create a super beast team of Mario characters all with different skills. The highlight of the game is probably just the standard match where you can play with a custom set of rules like no items and no star power, star power is a meter that fills up you do speaical pitch or hit. I think standard match is the best because of how quick and easy it is and also fun.

The campaign is very interesting in this game it involves Mario recruiting people to defeat bowers in a baseball game. Basically you walk around the map and play games or do challenges in different areas of the map. The campaign is pretty alright in general it’s just there to add more content to the game and I think a season mode would be a lot better than a this somewhat of a campaign. The third mode is called toy arena or something this mode is pretty weak basically you hit a ball and in a little castle try to hit away from your opponents it sucks and is not fun. There also some mini games you can play but they are no fun as well. That’s probably the main issue with the game to there are to many extra game modes that are not fun at all which leaves with a repetitive but fun experience this leads to little long hours of playtime. The game does have a features such as changing the time of day which changes what happens at the stadium you choose. Another cool feature that I earlier is the vast roster of teammates you can choose for your team some stand out characters are Funky Kong, The squid, and the caterpillar. However you do need unlock all these characters but they are necessary for domination on the baseball field. In conclusion Mario Super Sluggers is a great game to comeback to everyone now and then but is always easy and fun to play I give it a 8/10.
